So we go down to the river and I fill the hopper up, I got the 500 round hopper and the extra capacity tank, of course. I set the Overfire to manual and cock it back and fire off the first round and it sails all the way across the river and lands in the trees on the other side of the bank. Cool. But the old man doesn’t want me to shoot all his expensive new boilies across the river, he wants them out in the middle where the carp are. So I cranked the gas port down to setting 5 and shot another one out. The old man was still not happy, it went too far for him to cast to and he didn’t want to feed the carp on the other side of the river. So, I cranked it back down to 2 and shot out another one and it was perfect, the old man could cast out to it and didn’t have to strain himself. He said let her rip and I switched it to full auto and 500 boilies vanished in 10 seconds. The first ones didn’t land in the water until the last one left the barrel, it looked like a machine gun spraying the river in an army movie. Very Cool. I loaded up another 500 of the old mans boilies and did it again, the was way fun. But man, he said that was enough, boilies are expensive and he didn’t want to feed all the carp boiles so I had to stop shooting them out into the river. The old man set up our rods and put a couple of boilies on a hair rig and cast them out pretty far, although not as far as the other guys we fish with, it’s still usually far enough out to catch carp. This time he didn’t hit anyone with the sinker and didn’t have to rerig and waste more boilies. It wasn’t long before the first carp took off running. The old man grabbed the rod and the carp had his way with him, it swam up the river, out into the middle and down river again tangling everyone’s lines up real bad. After about 10 minutes the old man finally got it to the bank and it was a real pretty colored 6 pounder. I was getting bored watching him untangle all the lines and asked if I could shoot out a few more boilies, he said I could only shoot out 3 that were laying on the baiting up table. I thought 3, that’s hardly worth the trouble, but I loaded them up anyway. While the old man was busy I cranked up the Overfire to level 10, I was going to scare some squirrels on the other side of the river. As I was getting ready to fire the old man finally got his 6 pounder untangled and went to release it back into the river. As he bent over and put his big butt up into the air I couldn’t help myself, I lowered the Overfire, flicked it to full auto and stitched the old man right across the ass with all 3 boilies. He jumped straight out 10 feet into the river cussing every cuss word he knows. Now I have been hit with come cheapo paintballs that don’t burst when you get hit and know it stings so the boilies couldn’t have been much worse than that but by the way the old man was jumping up and down in the river you would have thought they were real bullets. He turned around and saw me laughing and I knew I couldn’t say it was an accident so I dropped the Overfire and ran away. I didn’t have to run very fast even though the old man was mad, and sometimes I even got to take a little rest while he tried to catch up but eventually I did an end run and came back to the fishing hole with everyone else. They were still laughing their butts off and put me in their protective custody when the old man came huffing and puffing back to the river. Surprisingly, I didn’t get into trouble. I reminded the old man about some of his best stunts when he was a kid and I even got to keep the Overfire. But, now when we go to bait up the old man sits in the truck while I blast out all of his boilies and he checks the Overfire to make sure its empty before he starts to fish. But he cant count so good somedays, especially when I use full auto, so I always keep a few in my pocket just in case another target of opportunity comes along.
