The Final Carp Down

The light broke through at just the right time.

Well, the annual bonfire and carp fish happened on Saturday the 25th and although the rain and wind were looking to spoil it, the sun crept out in beautiful majesty right as the whole thing got started in earnest.  One of the best sunsets I have seen in a while. While all around us clouds and darkness swirled it seemed that our spot was the exception.

Final Carp It looks like this 17 pounder is the Final Carp for the season. I posted this pic and the sunset pictures in both the Picassa and Regular Albums . Jack took off just before we started to get the bite on, but it came real late. All said, it was a super fun BonFire and Carp Fish.  I think I finally left with the hard cores about 4 a.m.

Fishing is a delusion entirely surrounded by liars in old clothes.
