Winds were gusting, putting a bight in the air. Luckily, that bight also hit the water. Though the fishing was slow, I've seen much worse. Deep crankbaits trolled and casted, and live medium minnows with bobber worked fairly well this mid-February week. Several largemouth and one pickerel were caught by three of us anglers. T-bird had the biggin' at 5-6 lbs. I'm sure that pic will be circulating by tomorrow. Shakin' off the cobwebs and gettin' in shape for hogs ...
